If your token creation fails, check that you have enough SOL for transaction fees (at least 0.5 SOL) and ensure your wallet is properly connected. Most failures are due to network congestion - try again in a few minutes.

Yes, if you retain the update authority during token creation, you can modify the metadata later. However, if you revoke the update authority for security reasons, the metadata becomes immutable.
After creating your token, you can create a liquidity pool on Raydium using our integrated tools. You'll need both your new token and SOL to provide initial liquidity.
Mint authority allows creating new tokens (increasing supply), while freeze authority can freeze/unfreeze token accounts. Both can be revoked permanently for security and to build investor confidence.
